Clinical Areas of experience
“My approach to therapy is often through my Artist lens. I look at the world as an artist and bring that creativity to my work with clients, which allows me to see new perspectives and creatively approach difficult situations. Though not all of my clients choose to work with the visual arts, it is an avenue that we can explore during our work together.
It has been my experience that even if clients do not view themselves as artists the new experiences that making art can provide encourages a new type of growth that was not previously known to them. It is my belief that the growth occurs during the process of making art rather than the completed aesthetically pleasing product."
