Drop-In Eating Disorder Support Groups
Tuesday evening 7:00- 8:30pm, Saturday morning 10:00-11:30am
A safe place to discuss struggles and successes with others in recovery. Family/Friends may attend Tuesday night groups. Suggested Donation $4/week. For more info call x 12.

Wednesday 7:45-9:00pm A 12-step group to discuss struggles and successes with others in recovery. Suggested Donation $4/week. Call Linda Winter x 22.

The following groups require an intake interview and a commitment to the group. The following are NOT drop-in groups. Your insurance may cover the cost of these groups:
IFS Peer Supervision and Training For Therapists
For professionals who are looking for more support and training with the IFS Therapy model. Mondays 1:00-2:00pm Once a Month. No charge.

Eating Disorder Therapy Group
In a safe & caring community of individuals committed to one another’s growth, explore & resolve negative patterns in your life.
Monday 6:30-8:00pm – Erin Diedling x19.

DBT Group (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)
For those who feel emotions more quickly & intensely than others & who have difficulty “coming down” from their emotions. Become more aware, feel more in control of your life, tolerate distressing emotions, regulate uncomfortable feelings, & learn how to have healthy relationships.
Adult Group Monday 6:30-8:00pm Linda Winter x 22.

Yoga Talk Group
This group integrates yoga & psychotherapy to empower you to increase awareness & connection with your body & lessen disordered eating attitudes.

Expressive Therapies Group
For those who want to explore emotions & express feelings in non-verbal modalities. Fee negotiable. Tuesdays 5:30-7:00pm Call x 12
"Filling Your Toolbox" - a Coping Skills Therapy Group
A supportive and accepting group atmosphere where you can add coping skills to your "Toolbox." Each week will focus on different "tools." Fee Negotiable. Wednesday 6:00-7:30pm. Call Erin Stitzel x18.
Mindful Eating: a Group for Meal Support
A small safe group to be with others who share similar struggles with food. Explore ways to cope without resorting to abusing food, and change one’s relationship with food. Thursday 6:00-7:15pm Call Katie Davis, RD x 24.
Nutrition Counseling Group
Led by a registered dietitian who specializes in Eating Disorders. This group is for individuals who struggle to develop and maintain a healthy relationship with food. Discuss nutrition questions and concerns, challenge food thoughts and fears, and learn how to meet your nutrition needs each day. Thursday 7:30-8:45pm Call Katie Davis, RD, x 24.
Sexual Abuse/Assault Survivors Group
A small safe group to explore & resolve issues with other survivors in recovery.

“Awaken Your Mind” Workshops:
One-day classes and workshops for emotional, physical, interpersonal & spiritual wellness.
Usually held on Friday nights, Saturday or Sunday afternoon. ($5 discount if registered & paid 7 days prior to workshop; $5 discount if registering with a friend; $5 discount if you are a Fan of The Awakening Center on Facebook)
