Integrative:
Our integrative approach is tailored to the needs of each
individual client. We draw upon the theory and technique of one
or more of the therapeutic methods below.
Psychodynamic:
Long-term, insight-oriented treatment which examines deep-seated
problems and more general life dissatisfaction
Internal
Family Systems: Explores parts of the personality which cause
internal conflict and enhances balance within the internal system
by development of the sense of Self
Cognitive/Behavioral:
Focuses on maladaptive thoughts and behaviors for relief of
distressing symptoms such as anxiety, lack of confidence, eating
disorders, or self-injury
Dialectical
Behavioral: Teaches practical coping skills for managing overwhelming
emotions and improving interpersonal relationships
Contemplative:
Uses
mindfulness and meditative techniques to reduce stress and facilitate
awareness
Experiential:
Uses alternative modes of expression such as art or movement
to gain access to feelings
